Carducci Music Trust
Inspiring audiences and young musicians of the future
The Carducci Music Trust is a registered charity (no. 1131742) which supports the educational and concert work of the Carducci Quartet. You can support the work of the Carducci Quartet by becoming a Friend or Patron of the Quartet or by making a donation.
Here are some of the ways Carducci Friends and Patrons can help:
The Carducci Festival at Highnam is the quartet’s own festival and is an excellent example of the quartet’s determination to promote free or low cost children’s events, family concerts, masterclasses for young musicians, alongside concerts of the highest international level.
Taking live music into schools is essential in promoting classical music to a new generation. The Carducci Quartet provides school workshops that are interactive and promise to be exciting, creative and unique. Their aim is to perform to over 3000 school children each year.
Performing at top venues such as the Wigmore Hall, London and the National Concert Hall, Dublin is vital for maintaining the quartet’s international reputation and the Carducci Friends and Patrons can help provide crucial support for such events.
The Carducci Chamber Music Courses in the UK, France and Ireland are an invaluable part of the quartet’s work - offering intensive master classes and concerts for young people from around Europe eager to develop their chamber music skills. The quartet would like to be able to offer financial assistance to enable the experience to be open to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
